Shipton Gorge Limited was formed by some local residents with the specific purpose of buying a small piece of land in the heart of the conservation area which the community had tried to buy on a number of previous occasions. In the past they had lost out for different reasons. The company was set up to allow the community flexibility to undertake similar projects in the future as easily as possible. This web site shows what we are doing currently. Some aspects may change in the light of feedback from local residents or other interested parties.
